From Global Commitments to Practical Action

The 2nd International Conference on Sustainability in Natural and Built Environment (iCSNBE-2027) brings together international and national experts to explore sustainability policies, implementation and future strategies at global, regional and Bangladesh levels.

Developing Bangladesh - Can It Be a Role Model for the Region?

Bangladesh is undergoing rapid development while facing complex challenges in climate resilience, energy, water, urbanisation, infrastructure and environmental sustainability. These challenges also create opportunities to demonstrate how development can become more resilient, resource-efficient and inclusive.

ICSNBE-2027 invites researchers, engineers, academics, policymakers, industry, government and practitioners to explore whether Bangladesh can turn these challenges into solutions relevant not only nationally, but across the region and beyond.

Why This Conversation Matters

Since the first iCSNBE conference in Dhaka in 2019, global sustainability efforts have advanced through stronger commitments, technological progress and wider institutional action. Yet significant gaps remain: emissions continue to rise overall, biodiversity commitments lag, and many Sustainable Development Goals remain off track.

The challenge now is to accelerate integrated, accountable and inclusive action that connects economic development with planetary and human well-being.

A Platform for Knowledge, Collaboration and Action

Sustainability crosses every sector of life. iCSNBE-2027 provides a platform to share research, innovation, experience and practical solutions across disciplines and sectors.
